[Solved] X and Y axis are inverted for my controller
I’m having quite a funny problem. I tried using a controller for playing but something is wrong : when using the right stick (the one for aiming) it appears that moving it horizontally will move my camera vertically !
If someone has any idea on how to fix it it will be very appreciated ^^

I'm getting the same problem here, R joystick has x and y directional input swapped. Any luck on fixing it?

yep i managed to fix it simply ! the controller is managed by steam. So, go to :
steam -> parameters -> controller and then you should have the option to configurate your controller (i'm french so i don't know how it is written in english ^^). Thus you can assign your axis properly =D

thanks dude! works great :)
I know this is kind of old, but everytime I try to edit my axis and save it, the controller disconnects then reconnects and goes back to the way it was.

Any solutions for that?

I didn't have any problem with that back then. My guess is that your problem might come from the controller you are using (the way controllers are managed by steam is kinda weird so if it's not something like a xbox controller you are likely to encounter such troubles). Are you using a xbox controller ?

C'mon man make your own post, this thread is 2 years old.
Open Steam, at top left, click Steam > click Settings > click Controller > click General Controller Settings.
You should be able to find your connected/paired controllers. Click it, then reassign your faulty axis.
