ERROR 83-MW1
About 2 minutes into a hunt with a friend online, I get disconnected from the session & the error '83-MW1' pops up. Any explanations or fix's please? Cheers.

This error code was present at launch for PS4 and Xbone. It's a server overload issue. They don't have the right network stack for their backend to support the spikes in server pop.

This was occurring to me sporadically last night. It's clearly an internal error code, so for its intended definition you'd have to ask CAPCOM.

My money is on server instability, but it's possible it's client (or host/client? does MHW have dedicated servers for its online sessions?) connection problems with the host or server that result in a poor quality error message.
