Voice audio not working properly

Is anyone have any issues regarding voices in this game? It seems like whenever an NPC speaks (especially during the openining cutscenes) their voices sound too low. Along with the character creation screen, whenever I'm creating my character and using the voice test options, no sound comes in at all.

I seriously hope I'm not the only one with this problem...

Glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue.
As a note, however: I had to put on headphones and set the audio settings to headphones in order to hear any voice dialog clearly. Seems to be the only temp solution I could find at the moment.

I think this is the same issue I'm having. Initially it sounded like everything was really far away/almost under water but fiddling with my in-game sound settings fixed that. Now I don't have any NPC dialouge, hopefully it's just a bug and will be fixed soon!

I wished this would have fixed it for me but it sadly didn't help. And this one was the only logical solution for me since I saw this being brought up from other threads. Can you help me Vulgor? I already set-up my dual speaker (with subwoofer) from the sound settings as a stereo. I even reinstalled the optical output driver (realtek) but I still have missing audio clips regardless of the output settings I chose within the game...
