Well, we knew it could be played offline. Denuvo doesn't force always online.

That said, with the specs needed to run MHW well, nobody's going to notice Denuvo. It's only ever really going to cause problems on really old systems. And if your setup is bad enough to notice a performance hit from Denuvo, you've probably also got an issue just having having Steam running. :p

Not at all. Those playing it early says offline with no internet is no issue. You can still play it.

How about the sonic mania dlc ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the game? Oh wait you don't like it when there is proof right? Because that was proven to be a problem from Denuvo confirmed from many people so all this bs saying it doesn't effect the game are wrong it can do. As long as Denuvo doesn't need to verify your game at this exact moment, I guess you'll be fine.

No, that's not how it works. You don't need any sort of connection to play once you've had your verification done.

You online need a connection to download updates.

Well... it is redundant and a waste of hard drive space, I'll say that. Its not needed when the game is on a DRM platform like Steam. Its inclusion is clearly just to appease technologically inept shareholders. I can't hold the devs responisible for it. I don't think it was their call.
