Desktop Icon Not Appearing

Hi hunters.

I was wondering if anyone could help with a small issue.

The other night, I did a fresh reinstall of MHW Iceborne on my PC. I did the reinstall in hopes of it fixing slight audio and screen stutter that occurs every ten minutes or so. So far, everyrthing has been running smoothly just like prior to IB's launch. I am hoping to do more testing tonight,

The issue is I for some reason can't create a desktop shortcut. I have tried over and over again using the Properties when you right-click a game in your library. It keeps saying a desktop icon has been created already, but it is just not visible on mine. I have tried refreshing my desktop several times, but to no avail.

Any help is appreciated.

RIGHT-CLICK anywhere on your desktop
a menu should POP-UP
under the VIEW option
check all that apply to your discretion

Also: make sure at least the SHOW DESKTOP ICONS is enabled
