???MONSTER HUNTER : Iceborne is missing form my library???

I received it via gifted from my friend since 3 Feb 20.
(she buy it using steam wallet and send to me, not a retail key)
and i can play it until yesterday (7 Feb 20) .
today, I try to continue playing and found error said something like.
"monster hunter world : iceborne required to play this id"
so I go check at the steam library, and it missing from the list.
Plz help T^T

You probally got gifted the base game and not iceborne.

You probally got gifted the base game and not iceborne.

Hi, Thank you for reply.
i'm his friend(not the one that gift him) and I have normal MHW.
i played with him since 24 Jan the date he buy MHW (recieved via gifted)
then he buy Iceborne(also recieved via gifted) on 3 Feb and we still can play together.

i'm sure that he has Iceborne cuz, he can wear Astral Alpha + armor.

also, he can use Flinch Shot feature in iceboure.

on 8 Feb he can run MH normally. but when try to load save game
there is error said something like : "MH : Icebourn required to play this save"
when this happen, we check on his library and it said he isn't own the Iceborne.
then we check his gift history.
the log that should show that he recieve MH Iceborne is missing (he get it on 3 Feb 20.)
the log only have MHW on 24 Jan (this is correct)

Please advise.

I cant advice anything aside from Right Clicking the game, Properties, and check if the dlc is listed there, and ticket on.

If its not listed in the View Licenses and Product Key Activations under your account information, then you either have to contact steam.

It will look like this. Rimworld in this case is gifted. I bought 2 games through third party sites(Fanatical and VoidU if I recall correctly)


Steam Store speaks for it self.

Complimentairy are either free 2 play games and or complimairy games given by developers for free for a temperairy time.
