Can't join online sessions or online quests

I have a problem with the online mode in Monster Hunter World on PC. I cant join any of the online session or any online quests.
I can create my own online session and my friend can join mine, but I cant join other online sessions or other online quests.
What can I do? I tried to reinstall the game, I checked my internet etc...
Please Help

I am having this exact same issue. Friends can join your session, people can answer your SoS calls, but you cannot join any other session nor answer SoS quests and it immediatly tells you that you "Failed to join the session because it hase been deleted" and "Failed to Join Quest" for any posted quest.

I have emailed support about this, posted here and on the MHW reddit thread.

Curious to see what other things we have similar, are you on Windows 8.1 as your OS?

I'm on Windows 10 and it sucks so hard. I didn't change anything on steam or on my pc. It just came that error message "Failed to join the session because it hase been deleted" and "Failed to Join Quest"...

Okay, that's good to know that it's not OS related. Let's check a few other things, there's a connection log file where your MHW game is stored. Go to your steamapps folder and browse to the MHW folder "..\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\Logs" and there should be a log file labled "network_error.log"

there should be some entries from the last day you launched the game and tried to join someone's session, I'm curious if in this log file you are getting the exact same error code as I am. Mine is:
ErrorNo=0x80050386

Yeah, here are the things I've tried already:
Verifying the files on Steam

Deleting my Steam Cache

Reinstalled the game

Verified there are no network issues or firewall configurations that would block this

Launched the game with steam in offline mode and standard online settings

none of those have worked :/

Yeah, they're probably going to wait till next week because of the American Holidays. Try hitting them up on twitter with the error number. I'm still testing other things to see if it can be resolved on the client side.

Update: it appears without any action, not can I see that my game has updated. I am able to join online sessions again.

Welp, it turns out to be the opposite for me, I have exactly this issue NOW of all times and was playing fine with friends before, now they always have to join me and do their own main story quests without me

Yeah I'm having the same issue as well, it started last night and still is not working today...



Update: restarting steam seems to have fixed the issue

The issue still goes on for me, guess I'll try re-installing steam

Go ahead and try that, I tried running repair on MHW and reinstalling the whole game before, but not steam itself. You may want to also verify that you're getting the same connection error in your MHW log file mentioned in the third comment in this post.
