Game looks fuzzy
Does the game look worse for anyone else after installing the dlc or is just me the game looks like it's not focusing the graphics as well

After downloading the dlc the game does indeed looks abit worse to me, like the textures took a hit.

Same, and this is on highest settings textures look worse off.

And didn't use HD textures before.

It looks blurry to me. Especially with that Silver Knight layered armor. It looks really shiny and blurry.
Did any of you accidentally enabled fidelityFX or DLSS?

DLSS is only shown if you have an RTX GPU I believe.

Both of those options upscale from a lower resolution so if you don't have either enabled then we can rule that out.

Is it the entire game that looks blurry or only certain objects and textures? Back when the game launched there was the LOD issue where textures weren't using the highest quality. It was most noticeable on armors. Hopefully that's not back.

Did you have any mods still installed from before the update? Try verifiying game files

Does it look anything like this? https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/46

Don't try and run that mod/fix it will likely break more things than it could possibly attempt to fix.

So i'm testing it, and if I change between 1024 and 'full' textures there is no difference at all, and i'm examining 512 vs 1024 <-> full and am also having a hard time seeing any difference, using my character on loading screen and restarting between each settings change.

No mods installed. I hope the SS can show you what it looks like. It looks worse than this in game

I'm gonna verify the files and see if that help. It might just be my eyes lol. I dont know.

So, I'm testing it currently, and i've taken screenshots 512 vs full and there seems to be absolutely no difference in texture quality, so it seems 1024 and full textures are not used which explains a lot.

Reporting it to capcom

Oh so thats why when i was comparing my cutscenes to those who played on consoles, mine looked like ♥♥♥♥

I think it might be an issue with the High res pack. I uninstalled it and the armor looks less blurry. Or perhaps it was just a weird issue with the layered armor i was using cause the rest of the armors looked alright.

Nothing to do with high res pack as I see it, the normal textures 'full' and '1024' simply aren't being used and it is using 512, if you go down to 512 and look about from full you'll see no difference.

Dang, I knew something felt off when I booted the game.

Shame Capcom literally doesn't know how a PC works.

May i see those screenshots? I have been having issues with the texture being muddy/ not rendering properly. I used to play with 512 but after the iceborne update it looks really bad

You can see it very easy on the fur and her face ( the lines in her face )
