Capcom's reply on Game Crash to Desktop no error messages

Hi all,

I've been in contact with Capcom US Customer Support in regards to the crashing to desktop issue but unfortunately things seem to be heading towards a dead end (in my case).

Capsom's reply - Capcom does not warrant nor officially provide technical support for PCs that do not meet all of the official, minimum system requirements. We recommend installing the game on a system that meets or exceeds all minimum requirements to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Long story short. My system does not meet the minimum requirement because my GPU is outdated (GTX 660Ti). Fair enough that's the "solution" I've got from Capcom, basically telling me "Go get a new GPU if you want to play". Again there's a reason for minimum system requirement I do understand that but having gone thru days to gather information for their troubleshooting team but ending up a blast on your face doesn't really feel good. Also that leaves me wonder how they'll reply if my system actually does meet their min. requirement.

Anyhow, I'd like to ask people who gets crash to desktop to actually e-mail Capcom customer service (the more the better) instead of just posting on the "Official MH:W Issue" thread. Because your post will most likely be lost and ignored within thousands of new posts. I doubt their representative even wants to take the initiative to go thru another 100 new posts every single day. Also by directly e-mailing them I believe it'll catch their attention and start putting this issue on priority.

I may be wrong but my gut feeling's telling me that they are ignoring this issue because the crash is too random (especially there's no error messages) and they receive far too less inquiry to even want to have a look onto it.

Of course those who do e-mail them regarding this matter needs to meet their minimum system requirement otherwise they'll just tell you off.

Still no plan to get a new GPU just for this game. It's still capable to play tons of new games released this year and kicking asses with better than descent performance.

My gf's laptop with 860M GPU runs fine not a single crash :/

Sorry mate but that decision is actually completely justified. Minimum requirements are there for a reason. If you pointedly ignore them and then have problems with your game, they have the right to deny you service because you denied to follow the minimum requirements. Even if you claim the game runs fine on your card, you still chose to ignore the minimum requirements.

It's pointless work for them to try to help people whose specs are under requirements.

Like I've said I understand the min req. and why they made the decision to ignore my request and I'm not really gonna whine about that.

I'm posting to hope people with the same issue but up to par system would raise a ticket directly to Capcom instead of posting on this forum. Because less likely are you gonna get any replies or even confirmation that ur issue has been received. Let alone wehther they really looking into it. With this I'm hoping their fix would be able to remedy those with less than req. system as well.

Not to mention GTX 660Ti is only a tad lower than GTX760. Same level structure just a bit faster. If my GPU is even older of course I would consider getting a new one regardless what game I'm playing.

They aren't going to care. I tried to supply them with not only crash dumps but a lot of solutions to various problems when it comes to crashing in MHW, they told me more or less to go stuff it. They said if I didn't have any issues to not contact support.
