Is there a list of what these error codes actually MEAN?
I've played monster hunter since the ps2 days, and capcom have consistently gotten this one wrong.
The purpose of an error message is to tell the user WHAT WENT WRONG! Using this cryptic "you dont need to know, just report it and wait and pray we fix it" crap needs to be dropped harder than most players connections. Stop referring us to generic tech support steps that blame it all on the user side and that most of us can and have done in our sleep, and give me specific feedback on my specific problem. Especially if its something I can fix myself if I knew what the problem was.

So if no such list exists, can I get a translation on what 216-MW1 is supposed to mean?

Means you d/ced. Alt + tabbing too much or poor connection or Steam network issues can all cause it.

OK, its a lead at least. Since when does task switching close a programs network connections? Windows certainly doesnt do that. Still, what kind of disconnect? Was it a timeout? Did the server kick me? Network issues are a pretty broad thing, which is why error messages are supposed to be specific about what happened. Capcom seriously needs a boot to the head on this one.

If you use Fullscreen, at least in my case the screen would go black for a split second every time I alt tab and that would cause me sometimes to disconnect, however switching to Borderless Window fixes this issue.
