Fatalis damage is bs
Why is it with 50 fire resist, over 1100 defense, and full guard build with a gunlance and his splash damage from his weakest fireball still one shots? what dumbass decided these were balanced stats?

Break the head at least once before phase 3 and that won't happen. Those super-charged fireballs hurt.
Its the true final boss of this game. Gives the best armor set in the game, and some of the best weapons in this game. It should be hard to fight.

im still in phase one getting targeted through ghillie mantles and one shot, one shot through full def builds, one shot when behind him at his tail and he breathes forward, there is no super charged, its his basic starting attacks one shotting me

then what ♥♥♥♥♥♥ forced it to be solo fight?
end game should NEVER be alone

Do you have no health boost and no meal/max potion buff? 'Cause there's no way you're getting 1-shot by anything as melee in phase one with the stats you listed. Literally impossible otherwise.

And they made the first phase solo only to see if you could handle the easy part. Beat that and you can join others. Otherwise, you'd just be dead weight eating up all the group's carts.

Post your entire build. People can't magically figure out what is wrong with your strategy if we don't see anything related to it. I'm sure the few psychically gifted people are busy with something else instead of reading this post. Like being sacrificed for The Golden Throne or something. The Emperor protects!

Also, neither of the two quests that have Fatalis in them are "solo quests". The Black Dragon is a Special Assignment Quest that can be played with others, and the other quest, Fade to Black is an Event Quest that is permanently available to everyone.

so everyone wants to ♥♥♥♥ talk instead of try to give ideas, nice to know the community is still as useless as ever

Us lying to you won't help you. Sometimes reality hits you in the face like a Fatalis fireball.

There is no secret to the fight. Fatalis hits hard. Learn the fight. Overcome the challenge. Nobody has an "I win" button for you to push.
>doesn't let us see how many hours he played due to private activity, which means we can't judge his experience
>doesn't post his build, just tells us the stats and the weapon he's using without telling anything else about his build or strategy
>couldn't figure out the quest he's trying to do can be done with others, complains about "solo quest"
>basically ranting instead of asking for help
>people try to help, one asks for the full build to examine it because people aren't psychics
>dismisses everything and starts talking crap
>"why is everyone talking sh*t about me? Useless community"

Go touch some grass and calm down, then we can sit down and have a serious discussion. Once you post your build properly, of course.

Sorry the world players can be pretty rude but keep trying and you can do it.

200HP and 1100 defense is enough to survive one hit. with melee damage resistance.
Some attacks will bonk ranged weapons in 1 hit no matter what.
Don't get hit. Fatalis is an incredibly difficult but pretty fair fight, when it's not spitting fireballs.

Hit it until it dies. And don't get hit.
