can i play mhw online with mods?

does adding visual mods to mhw lock me in offline or i can still play it online with no bans?
and how can i tell what mods can i use ?

no bans you can use anything just don't use one shot mods cause it pisses off people

You can use any mod you want. There is no ban system.

The only exception is using the ICE mod, which is a large overhaul mod, and restricts your online play to only others that also have that mod.

Don't oneshot and it's not a problem, most of it's client side visual or UI stuff anyway right, so you're fine! The only problems occur when you're ruining the experience for others, and none of those do that.

aslong you don't use anything that changes like dmg,stats,quest pretty much cheating, you're good to go
