if you're player or returing go for it but if you're new you will have a rude awakening when you still don't know how to play the game and you rely too much on powerful gear.
IF you have a good build fully augmented and upgraded and you know you're weapon too well that build can carry you through MR 1 to 3 to 4 to 5, 4 and 5 is pushing it.
I actually prefer to replay it, since I haven't played in about 2 years.
I started with regular armor and weapons, too. But I killed the monsters easily anyway (since already played through once), so the only thing it did, was costing me time, since I want to get to MR which is much more challenging generally.
This is sound advice, thanks buddy. Will do it like that, I guess.
Definitely wouldn't use it as a noob. Replaying with my favorite weapon, DB. I started fresh with regular weapons and armor to try HBG, but after a while I couldn't resist to go back to DB. DBs I can handle pretty well, I think.
