It pretty much enables pause on any PC game.
The difference is that Rise is based more on the older games where there's separate online and offline modes.
And seriously, if you need 50 minutes for a hunt, you really need to try harder.
wouldn't exist.
Good riddance I guess. If you don't have the time or the will to do something, just do something else. Refunding because the game can't be paused is just an excuse.
This, tbh.
Uh oh, hypocrisy spotted.
I read your post better than YOU did, apparently.
As you can see in this copy and pasted quote, you stated "every game" should have a pause feature. This was not specified to be offline games, online games, or anything other than a blanket generalization of literally ALL forms of games. You then complained about offline mode in this specific game not letting you pause. The two sentences are not connected, they are grammatically separate thoughts. So I am correct in responding that no, not ALL games in the entire world are required to have a pause button.
If you had read MY post, which you clearly DIDN'T and attempted to skim over, I specified "Offline mode would have an excuse", which means it would make sense for an offline game to have a pause option, but not that they are required to. I've played singleplayer games and offline games that don't have a pause. If you so desperately need to pause your game constantly at a moment's notice, you shouldn't be playing unpausable games.
But, like my initial point says, if your life is so innately uncontrollable and chaotic that you can't even get 50 minutes without an interruption, you have enough problems IRL that you shouldn't be trying to avoid them by playing games. Especially games like Monster Hunter that are specifically designed to be long, hour long hunts with heavy preparation and no interruptions.
Also if you hate Fromsoftware that just means you're bad at games, sorry. Them's the rules.
Not that I hate FromSoft but they still have a few wrong choices here and there (notable ones include them removing Prepare to Die Edition completely to push the "remaster") Disliking the devs/publisher and being bad at their games are entirely separate things. I have many reasons to dislike (or, hell, even hate) Capcom but I love their game and I can (probably) say that I'm good at it as well. I still question/criticize their design choices and other various behavior, just like I do it for FromSoft.
Fromsoft didn't push the demaster, that was exclusively the publisher Bandai Namco. Fromsoft had legitimately nothing to do with it, which is why Blupoint handled the remastering and not the original team.
However, my point still stands. One's personal opinion about a developer/publisher is different than being good/bad at their games.
Nah everyone knows if you don't like Dark Souls it just means you're bad at it.
