are you making sure they are giving the right reaction to the item you offer?
Yes, but I didn't know that in each region they prefer an item.
I received information that it is RNG, I kept trying and got it after a few good attempts.
It could be a type of gifts that trigger different treasures based on their number, but I practically won't be able to prove that alone. All I know is just that it sucks and if you want the achievement, then steel yourself for one of the most boring tedious experiences in gaming history.
There's a reason this achievement is the 2nd least achieved Steam achievement in MHW, right below Conqueror of the Hinterlands (get all Iceborne achievements). That means there's less people completing this achievement than people getting literally ALL GOLD CROWNS for ALL MONSTERS.
Only because of the crowns mod did I get the crowns, otherwise I wouldn't have patience. But it's really boring trying to get the treasure tip, it's been an hour since I made this post and I've only gotten 2 tips so far.
I'm trying to get the hint for the 4th treasure must be half an hour or more.
I feel that. I must've spent 4-5 days (4-6 hours per day) finishing up those treasure tips. Scoured the internet for any semblance of clue for how to get better tips, but sadly there are no conclusive methods other than just keep giving them random gifts of their highest likes.
If I have to make a personal guess, it's either (a) an invisible EXP bar where every gifts give either a predetermined or random amount of EXP; or (b) a random chance (like 10% or less) of getting a tip for every loved gift.
But yeah, it sucks. Godspeed.
In fact, the secret is to just trade all 3 at once. Do this and you will receive an almost guaranteed treasure tip.
I read this tip in a random post and it worked perfectly, I've already completed Coralino and I'm almost completing another map.
Anyway thanks for the help ^^
You just keep giving the tribes items over and over again, then switching zones when you run out of "trade attempts". That's the most "optimal" way of doing it.
Come to think of it, the treasure clues might be an even worse grind than the decorations. At least you have to do something fun (like hunting) to grind for decorations.
