maybe the textures are actually not streaming from the hard drive properly, do you have a mechanical hard drive or a ssd?
edit: also did you download the high resolution textures? they need more than 6gb of vram to be used, the in the options menu in the title screen you can see you how much vram is being used you can't have it filled dup
Yes, I have a mechanical hard drive, but I dont have issues like this with any other game
As that would be a bit too much for a 1060.
each game is its own thing.
what about the high resolution texture pack, are you using it? how much vram is your option menu saying it is using?

Is there anything wrong with my settings??
Im not using the high red pack, its tu much for my gpu. The textures are on medium and I am using 4.40 gb of vram. This are my graphical settings

This is how the textures look on high, look a the wood texture, its so low res

No, I didn intall the high res pack, the textures are just on high
Not sure why texture on wood panel is so bad, I play with high res tex pack but I think SH diffuse quality can affect textures a bit, hope that helps at least a little.
And I still can easily run High Rez textures mod + reshade + other visual mods.
That red VRAM bar is a joke. I'm over 6Gb and it's all good.
Here's what I did to my game for max quality/performance (i'm at stable 60 all the time):

I have a 1060 myself and 64 bit will overheat my gfx card quite quick while offering no real quality enhancement. No clue if that was a bug in the drivers or something.
I noticed years ago that it won't work well with mhw.
So it's literally a settings that eats away like 4 fps with no visual changes whatsoever.
(Below is incorrect in terms of load times)
Just want to point out, using High texture mode even on good equipment sucks. It takes to long to load the game. i7-5820k, 8GB 2080 and the game installed on my 1TB Samsung 980. And setting the high resolution pack ends up making the goal load around 4 to 5 times longer per hunt. And while in the action you aren't noticing that tree.
