The right answer is that developers are knuckleheads.
(just add a fraking loading screen, who cares lmao, reload the entire scene, this does not even require a CS degree holy cow, what the f is Capcom doing hiring absolute morons)
only issue is some story parts will teleport you back into the tradeyard after the quest... *sigh*
Also, this is a non-issue. Astera is tiny, and we already have shortcuts. Hell, I'm nitpicky too, but this is too much even for my standards.
