Report a translation problem
lack of weapon identity
lesser graphics (yes i realise its a switch game but its still a contributing factor)
wirebugs are boring
uninteresting locales
did i miss anything?
While the game is actually a decent one despite being worse than World, The actual bad thing and worst part about Rise, is their fanbase. They're defensive, can't take criticism well, and not helpful, like at all. Just look at both forums and compare.
and this, unless you do anomalies which is part of the endgame, good luck finding people.
-way too fast
-way too much weapon effects (wirebug + blood + damage numbers + elemental effect + buddy effects + monster effects made the game super hard to look at)
-updates really sucked
-spiribird mechanics got tedious
-removed any sort of tracking or quest prep
-completely useless and boring side mode
-hunting horn is WAY worse
There are tons of things that I like about Rise (I prefer it over World) but man does it often suck out the things i love about the series. malzeno was the most fitting flagship
- TERRIBLE monster intros. Horrible, cringe poems with a 8mm film overlay
- The woman singing in the Village sounds ear piercing and bad. No wonder they added DLC music to replace it
