While I greatly prefer World, Rise is a decent game on its own. Just know that the overall feel of combat is different enough that only you can really say whether it's worth it or not.

i can still enjoy the game without the dlc right

You can, but similar to World, Rise's DLC Sunbreak adds a lot of content. It is highly recommended to get it if you enjoy Rise.

Then i'm going to wait for another sale so i can buy the both game and the dlc
45 on yuplay for both that would be cad funds. So alot less is usd funds, for both rise and sunbreak on steam. How i scored it.

If you liked World, get Iceborne instead. I'm straight up assuming you don't have the expansion, considering you only played for 46 hours. It can take significantly longer than 100 hours to do everything* in the game without rushing or getting carried, base game and Iceborne combined. How you did anything significant in 46 hours is beyond me. I'm not asking this to mock or offend, but are you sure you played the game at all?

Rise is almost an entirely different game that only has the same core ideas as World has, so you might not like it if you really liked World.

I recommend playing the demo of Rise and decide from there. It gives you an idea about what to expect.

*I'm not counting stuff like achievements, of course. Some are RNG, so those can take far longer. Similar stuff is in Rise, as well.

Depends, do you have people to play with on either? I feel Rise is a little more fast paced due to the mounts but the graphics are lacking in my opinion. I feel like RIse is a lot easier than world. F it and go Elden Ring lol

Rise, to explain it simply, is all about getting you into fights with monsters with minimal fuss.

World, on the other hand, is more about world building and narrative (such as it is), so the pace is slower and more methodical.

Both fun games. They just approach the core concept of the Monster Hunter series differently.
