will mh6 launch on pc?
im curious if they will make it console exclusive for the first year or so like how they did with world and rise.

also im curious if theyre going to make it a launch exclusive title for the switch 2 since the release times would line up and because of the massive success and improvements that rise had and brought over world

Do you think we are some kind of Capcom insiders? We know the same stuff you do. The game will definitely release on PC, that is not even up to debate, the only question is the timeline.

Want an educated guess? I give it 50% that it will launch at all platforms at the same time, 50% that they still either do not care enough to make sure it releases on the PC at the same time or Sony will pay up to make it a timed exclusive for their consoles again. With how popular both games are on PCs, and seeing as they have already been slowly moving in this direction with both Iceborne and Sunbreak it would be silly to assume they aren't at least giving it a serious consideration for the next game. But they would also never pass up exclusivity money, especially when it means they also get to double dip and have some people buy the game twice.

If Sony pays, it would be not to release it on Xbox or Switch (if at all). Since Nintendo did the same thing, they don't care about PC (lucky us).

Then again, Epic might pay not to release it on Steam...

I once heard that Capcom considers PC to be a priority platform so I wouldnt doubt it

They have to be stupid to not do that, so yeah. One way or another, for more money, they'll release it on PC. I don't think they are stupid enough to sign a deal with Epic either, so that's also unlikely. Only the devs/publishers who are not confident in their product would get a cash infusion from Epic, at the cost of long term sales.

PC was the second biggest platform for world. It caused capcom to redouble focus on pc as a platform. Like, in their own public statements. Not some hearsay crap.

There's no way 6 will be console exclusive. It may have sony bribe money to be timed exclusive again like rise did, or they may have a falling out with sony like they did with nintendo which is why we got sunbreak same day as switch.

Either way. It'll be on pc.

And honestly, I will upgrade my computer just to play MH6 at launch.
