Where did my Money GO?
Hey guys, just wondering if something like this happened to any of you~ Not sure if it was a bug or not.

I'm just enjoying iceborne for the past 3 days like most of you, and making stuff here and there then today all of sudden, I couldn't make a weapon because I only had 7k left LOL

I'm just hit HR 280 in Guiding land, and I had A LOT of money before, like a lot, never had issues with $$ so I never paid attention to how much I have.

I made some weapons and armors, played around with steamworks thingy when natural fuel is full. Just got into guiding land and noticed I'm super broke. Were the high rairty weapon really expensive or something? I didn't think so though. Were there stuff that I joined or played that cost a lot of $$ that I wasn't aware of in iceborne?

Lol. I totally thought this was gonna be a complaint about buying iceborne, and not being able to play it. Being a waste of money

Idk. Feel like I crafted a few sets and still have bank. Maybe you crafted much more then me

Do you remember roughly how much money you started with?

Most of the new weapons and equipment in Iceborne cost a fair bit. 50 thousand zenny is often the starting price for a single upgrade so if you went in with 1 million for example, that'll get you around 20 or so forges/upgrades worth.

I recommend rooting through your Item Box and selling monster materials you don't need anymore, especially if you've done Kulve Taroth runs in the past.

This. If you are hr280 you should have stacks of material you don't need. I sell everything that has excess leaving at most 20 of a monster parts incase I need to craft down the road

Iceborne's gear and upgrades tend to be pretty expensive to make - somewhere between 50,000 to 80,000 (IIRC) for rarity 12 weapons and sometimes even more to make a full armour set. On top of that, you don't earn any zenny in the guiding lands, so it's easy to run out. Luckily, the quests in master rank all have pretty good payouts, too, especially investigations. Also, your poogie can help you get egg trade-in items to sell (as can the steamworks), so check your materials and you'll probably have enough stuff to sell.

Ok so it seems like I'm not the only one here.
ya I had to sell a lot of Kulv weapons that I was too lazy to organize and sell before, Got some money back. Not gona play around with sets and builds no more. I guess I gota save up for the real stuff that comes later.

So I'm HR 200+ and runing out of money then what about the people under HR 100, how can they even afford to forge at all lol!

Im under HR 100 and have around 1million, just hit guiding lands hesterday. I just craft what I use and dont make everything. I use my vouchers on investigation with a high pay rate, doubling a 50k velkhana hunt helps with money problems
PooPooPanda Jan 16, 2020 @ 5:36am
Ahh I guess doing some investigation here and there will help out~

How much is “a lot”? Now I have 56 million so clearly money is not a problem for me. If you are having trouble with money, that means you did not have “a lot of” money. Besides, stuff is more expensive in IB, upgrading weapons easily costs you 100k.
Hare+Guu! Jan 16, 2020 @ 6:44am
Did you augment your armor? It takes a ton of spheres and money to level up armor once it's augmented. So if you're doing that with multiple pieces, it eats up a lot fast.
