What it does is boost the stun value of weapons that are capable of stunning.
And sticky ammo does stun if it explodes on the monsters head so Slugger does help.
My HBG can't apply power barrel yet...
What do people normally play with? I'm in love with sticky build since it keep dropping monster but its fixed damage is the weakness and not much decos to do with sticky ammos since its ammo is limited per run if the damage isn't high enough.
I'm personally partial to Pierce.
Though If you want to use stickies (or any ammo really) indefinitely bring a Farcaster so you can restock mid fight. Most sticky guns tend to have Cluster and Wyvern Ammo, the latter also benefiting from Artillery, the former only benefits from raw damage but deals a lot of damage, both are good for capitalising on sticky KOs.
Also somewhere at the end u will be given razorsharp/spareshot charm.
only attack boost and artillery affect the raw damage of sticky ammos, but you can increase your dps by increasing your clip size with the skill "free element/ammo up" so you don't have to reload as much, and the skill "razor shape/spare shot" which grant you a free ammo on a random basis can lessen your reloads too, which increase the number of damages you can do over time.
