Not to mention, you're using a level 1 slot deco on a 3 slot? Now i am even more curious.
that said, slot flinch free
Every other weapon can't be flinched out of during their combos so once again, I don't understand.
Longsword can at least straight up launch you up and it does interrupt even GS combos.
The only times I ever get flinched by dual blades is if for some reason I am trapped on the same side they are when the monster is down, and at that point I just go wound other parts while they slash away. It's not a speedrun lol.
Not sure if sarcasm, but assuming that comment is serious...
If you are THAT dependent on having 15 extra health, it means one of two things:
1) You're not healing when you should be and/or you are being absolutely reckless during hunts. Both are faults of your own.
2) There is something incredibly WRONG with your build (i.e. needing to upgrade armor, having better armor in general, etc). This is also your own fault.
1) I can name VERY few monsters where you can effectively DB (or even SnS) to the back: Anjanath. Great Jagras, Great Girros, and MAYBE Odogaron. On most monsters, you're hits will just deflect or deal or obscenely low amounts of damage. With Rath, Diablos, and Nerg, there are SMALL weakpoints in their wings but the hit box is absolute garbage for such short range strike since the monters are flailing about; the only other conceivable area for DB or SnS is the tail, but again with the flailing...
2) I must have missed the memo that stated you are OBLIGATED to hit certain parts with certain weapons... Last I checked, I was free to play as I want.
So for the love of all things good, just slot in a Brace jewel.
That being said, I have been caught next to a dual blade user before, and my goodness it took a sec to escape xD
You're a longsword user. You deserve the flinches if you don't slot it.
You go to the back, or tenderize body parts to make yourself mildly useful as you stare in amazement as the massive damage master weapon carries you through the SOS. You're welcome btw.
