I'm horn main, beat xenojiva, still no replacement for defender horn...

Did they kill the game on purpose? I literally see no replacement for this, every single horn doesn't beat it, the songs and power is too good to replace it by anything.

i don't use guardian cause it feels trash to use it, but why wouldn't i use the weapon? It makes the fights more fair.

defender tree is basically for people to rush to the iceborne content, if you have iceborne there is much better horns but probably defender is the option in base game rn. People dont recommend using these because when ppl use them they paly with overpowered stats and start complain about iceborne's difficulty when they reach iceborne.

A weapon doesn't make you god like if you can't avoid attacks. I can understand tell me this kind of nonsense if i was using the guardian armor. But how does a weapon make you a god?

+ I didn't ask about judging me on unfounded gear usage but what weapon is better than the defender...

Bro chill. I didnt judge you, you asked why people tell others to not use it and i answered it. And yes a more powerful weapon gives you significant advantage. Defender weapons have great raw dmg + sharpness. Their white sharpness is insane. And the answer above me explains another reason very well. It kills the progression for new players because you can craft the defender weapons with little to no costs.

at least we can agree here. overpowered equipment doesn't make you a good hunter, it makes you a bad hunter that succeeds in hunts anyway :)
