Any other Meta Longswords viable right now?
Trying to decide on what longsword would go into my full Velkhana Armor Set. Other than the Safi, Alatreon, Raging Brachy, and Fatalis LS weapons. Would need an LS for each element (except ice). Any KT weapons good? Was looking at Furious Rajang LS and Namielle LS are they any good?

KT weapons are good, but elemental Long Sword isn't even remotely meta. If you want to play around with it that's fine, but bear in mind that the build won't

The main reason for this is Helm Breaker having bad elemental damage values, and with it being LS' strongest move that's kind of a dealbreaker.

It's also worth noting KT weapons are good because the Kjarr ones pack Crit Element inherently making them useful even today for buildcrafting, but if you're using a Velkhana set having Crit Element on your weapon is redundant.

So, I would recommend ignoring the Crit Element component of the build and just relying on regular raw damage. It's not like you're missing out on that much as the real reason to equip Velkhana armor is Frostcraft's fantastic damage bonuses which are awesome regardless of if you have a heavy element weapon. HOWEVER if you really want LS recommendations here's one for each element I'd grab, excluding the monsters you mentioned:

Fire: Wyvern Blade "Pale" (S. Rathalos). Not much to say as it's a very all-round generic LS with a solid statline, (well, solid by pre-update powercreep standards) though it was far overshadowed by the poison Goldthian LS.

Water: Probably Azure Star "Dragon Dance" (USJ). It's close to Namielle's LS with slightly less raw and element, but makes up for it IMO with the ability to reach purple (and inherent purple), plus two 4-slot decorations and 15% more inherent Affinity.

Thunder: Demonlord Halberd (F. Rajang). Despot's Thunderbreaker (Zinogre) has higher element but this wins out thanks to higher raw, inherent Affinity and good inherent Purple sharpness. (which specifically helps make up the elemental gap)

Ice: Adulria Edge (Tempered Frostfang Barioth) combines the raw of the Velkhana LS with the elemental power of the Legiana LS and a sliver of inherent purple.

Dragon: Deathblade Vaal Grosser (doesn't take a genius to figure out what monster tree that's from) is your "best" option here but your listed monster exclusions cut out most Dragon LS from the equation including upgraded Xeno. (as that requires Safi materials) Stuff like Savage Jho is too bad to consider. Ruiner Nergigante cuts out most of the element for much better sharpness and raw, though, so that's also worth considering.

Note that I did not consider KT weapons due to the limits of my own collection. Dragon and Fire are the categories where KT weapons will almost certainly exceed what I've listed.

Meta? No. Meta is all about dealing as much damage as possible with as little downtime as possible, and the trees you mentioned are already at the top. There are plenty of viable meme builds out there though, and Kjarr weapons are great for those.

Kjarr weapons are ideal for elemental focused builds because of their built in critical element and ability to be custom augmented to push their elemental damage even higher. That being said, if you're already running full Velkhana than you already have critical element so using them is kind of redundant. I would say Safi longswords are the next best thing, and the siege is coming back in 29 hours.

Also, keep in mind that Velkhana's max set bonus is at 4 pieces. You could easily replace one of those for better decoration slots or armor skills, and if you were so inclined you could even do something like put Velkhana's divinity as a Safi awakening and run that with 3pc Velk armor and 2pc Fatty for Frostcraft and Inheritance. No idea if that would even be good, but it's an option.

As a LS main for almost 12 years it pains me to say this...Elemental Longswords aren't meta. The only time you should be using them is against Alatreon, if it has high raw damage( or close enough to the current strongest but better sharpness, affinity, slots, ect.), or if you're playing an older game and need a certain element to break a part.
as of right now the Fatalis LS is the best you can get( Lightbreak edge if you can't augment)

I used to use elemental Long Swords a lot in older games, but now that I can see the damage numbers I pretty quickly stopped using them lol.
could always try the frostfang barioth/velkhana armor build on longsword :p stuns fer days.
