I'd say you're better off soloing if you want an Eye.
Or ZSD spam to the head and because partbreak value is bad on ZSD, you can go straight to the kill while breaking the head two times
Just learn how to fight this thing solo and go MP just for fun.
I have all weapons, all armor pieces and all charm upgrades that require Evil Eyes and I have more than 60 left. If I would have to guess a number, I'd say that about 10 came from MP hunts.
If you want, I can "teach" you how to beat Fatalis solo.
we had our fun
simply let it rest
it is over, iam thinking he got enough eyes
Why "stupid just solo it" comments?
I genuinely want to help that player to be able to enjoy the fight. Gear does not matter at all. What is the gear useful for? Clearing a quest in 3 minutes instead of 4?
he knew the fight your comment is fully pointless
he had no interest in boring solo experience he wanted multiplayer.
You are just antagonizing for no reason.
OP explicitly mentioned the fact that rage quitters are quite frequent. => reasoning for offering to help OP clear it solo.
I am not physically near any gaming operatable PC in this particular moment. => offering to help without joining the session.
Regardless whether OP finds it boring or not, OP did not comment on the hunt being boring when solo'd.
OP asked for people to help OP out with farming Evil Eyes. => Although it is implied that OP wanted a coop hunt, OP did not state that fact explicitly. => Offer to teach OP be able to solo it cus that directly translates into getting Evil Eyes.
You are a strange fellow:D
Cheers!
Put on Ghillie Mantle before going down to Fatalis, have the cat use Plunderblade and afk for 3 minutes until it refreshes. You can Farcast back to camp and remove/add the gadget to refresh the cooldown, but your Ghillie Mantle will go away. I just mute the game and listen to a podcast or music while doing this.
Also what's the problem with Ghillie Mantle go away? Can you just... run around Fatalis while doing Plunderblade, without getting hit?
10 minutes. 3 min each for Plunderblade and for the last Plunderblade you Farcast, switch gadgets and go back to Fatalis for the final Plundering. Then leave the mission hoping to get an eye (1% chance each Plunderblade attempt (max 4).
The mantle last if you don't move. Again, just afk or listen to a podcast or something.
Wow, I envy you. I had both Fatalis sets (alfa and beta) and my three main weapons upgraded weeks ago. Since I have already completed everything but the crown achievements, this week I have been crafting all the armors (not layered ones, but the normal ones) and finished yesterday. Besides, this week I also wanted to collect evil eyes to craft and upgrade the rest of the Fatalis weapons. Everyday I tried 3-4 times in Coop and my team and me never succeeded. People is dying a lot, LOL. Fatalis is the only quest that I did not complete in Multiplayer, so sad. I will keep solo to get the eyes and maybe try later what I consider the biggest achievement in MHW besides collecting all the crowns: Killing Fatalis with randoms!
I don't get the point. Isn't it better to invest some time learning Fatalis moves even if getting killed (while plunderblade in the cat) and trying to break the horns meanwhile? I did that in my first Fatalis runs and got some Fatalis eyes by breaks/Palico. After 10-20 fights or so you should be able to kill Fatalis consistently, as well as breaking the horn as well as having the Palico's plunderblade equipped. I tried twice this morning (I am not such a good player) and got one eye from the break in the first kill, and one eye from the break+2 from carves+1 from the rewards (I thought it was not possible, I mean the top-first square from the rewards, not the second one with the breaks. Or, put in other words, I got two evil eyes in the reward screen: one in the top box and another one in the bottom one)...
Anyway, 5 evil eyes per 40 minutes or so. Last time I remember it was something similar. It makes sense: 7% per carve and you carve 6 times. That means that you get an eye each 2 runs. If you break the head that means 3 eyes per 2 runs. Additionally you have the chance of getting another one from the Palico or, as I was surprised today, from the rewards...
just tell your team using lv3 fire resist, lv5 divine protection and elemental resist L with moxie, if it still dying maybe they need more practice.
