There was no wall for me in MHW base. There wasn't in Iceborne either. There were monsters that were harder than others but I was never stuck. The only thing I got stuck at for days is Fatalis.
Reason for him not being much of a problem later on is you actually have armour now but first time meeting him I would assume he took out a lot of people.
G-rank double brachy urgent quest, also in 3U. the quest i failed the most in my entire MH career.
for world:
AT xeno, was the hardest hunt for me back in the day. hard to hit with DBs, and the 30min timer dosen't help. easely over 10 tries.
AT nerg, took me 5 tries.
Fatalis, took me around 7-9 tries.
yeah i heard tigrex was very rough back thenm when healing was still standng still
looks liike your weakness is flagship monster
tempered kirin was something else, i remembered putting away hunting it for so long just not to be clapped by it
it took me MR armor to defeat AT nergi, but the early armor of MR
In 3U tho, I was able to breeze through the game. It wasnt until Iceborne did I hit a wall again, which was, lo and behold, barioth. I did manage to kill him first try, but boy, was I have flashbacks to back when I was a kid.
In Iceborne, my first wall was Barrioth and the biggest wall was Raging Brachydios.
It wasn't until I reached the Guiding Lands that I made my first MR armor with the Zorra set to better my Gunlance playstyle.
