Furious rajang help
I use the longsword and either cart to much or fail because of time how can I capture or kill furious rajang in a quicker way and no I dont have a ice longsword and am not sure if it would be worth it to make one.

what happens before you cart?

You're right, if you're timing out on a 50 minute quest, chances are swapping to an ice LS isn't going to do much for you. Maybe try a different weapon, it really sounds like LS isn't working out for you on this match up.

If you're failing due to timeouts you clearly need to get used to the moveset more, the problem almost certainly isn't your longsword. It's just about properly weaving through Furious Rajang's attacks and making use of the windows you do get.

As a random, somewhat gimmicky tip that can help you squeeze extra damage out: If you haven't already, set your cat to have a Sleep weapon. Then, whenever it inflicts Sleep on Furious, you can use some Poison Smoke Bombs to poison it without waking it up, then use a Clutch Claw wallbang (ideally with Mega Barrel Bombs planted at the wall rajang's gonna slam into) and you can get a massive extra burst of damage on him.

Is there a way to slow him down possibly since he moves far to fast to get in more then a hit or two and how are you supposed to weave through him when hes almost constantly moveing or spamming his annoying attacks. I treid fighting him a few more times but the fight is just awful and very frustrating especially when I do some damage and he just attacks me with a hit I cant dodge then I die. Longsword is what I main but this fight just makes me seem like a fool with a stick like no other fights have,Im sorry for bothering anyone with this guess I just suck with longsword and anything to do with rajang.

Alot of his attacks have openings in them.
Like when he swings his Arms left and right you can just slap that booty.
Or when he's doing the hit the ground and make lightning come out thing , if you are near him he's just standing there.

Try using smoke bombs if you are in a pinch and need a quick moment to breath.

the difference that mattered to me was using evade extender 2 during rajang fights. you can evade every single one of his attacks just nicely with it, and giving you the window of opportunity to damage him every so often

I hear Rajang was laughing.

I used to have trouble with Rajang. Then I practiced R Brachy, KT and AT Velkhana with a 0% comfy LBG sticky build for a week. I never managed to kill any of them and I still suck at LBG, but fighting Rajang with a SA seems a lot easier now.

For many of his most intimidating hulk smash attacks his arms are the only thing with a hitbox. Pop on the rocksteady mantle before engaging so you can exploit the opening roar for a free soften, you can also punish his belly flop harder with it on. Wallbang him judiciously and exploit his lightning beam attack to keep at least one part softened. Lure him to areas with ledges and try to get mounts when he's enraged. Focus on his horns during any topples.

sticky gun from normal rajang, brachydios or tigrex for easy mode
but ls has the lovely forsight slash to deal with the majority of jangs attck.

You need time to learn, everyone has terrible first time with Rajang. Before I learned him Rajang was one of the most frustrating enemies I ve ever fought(when he came out),but after a while he stopped being that scary.

Rajang is fast, brutal, and unforgiving. This also goes for his Furious variant. I still haven't beat regular Rajang myself, and I haven't even attempted Furious. He's the only monster that has pushed me to call for SOS for his main quest, and I still lose. I've managed to defeat a few in other people's Guiding Lands, but I won't pretend that I'm useful in those fights.

Rajang punishes overaggressive and/or overcomitted players. Do not rely on slow attacks to kill him unless he's stunned.

Finally got him though it took far longer then I would have liked, kept mobile at all times and used multiple traps and limited some of my attacks. Now I dont have to fight a furious rajang ever again.

Not that great really considering how tough that angry furious monkey is. You only get R11 decos too. Although I did get 5 tickets from one quest. None of the decorations where good though.

The tempered toaster event is still the best for decoration farming. Unless you are completely terrible you will always kill it netting 3-8 sealed feystones.
