Bone Armor will be what you should run with mostly as it's a very solid LR set in general that's easy to obtain and has decent skills on it, including Horn Maestro on the waistpiece, which makes Hunting Horn melodies last longer so you won't have to play them as frequently.
So, aside from the Bone Armor waistpiece, use what you want, though most of the other Bone Armor pieces have worthwhile skills too, just nothing as vital to pick as the waistpiece for Hunting Horns.
then i said, whats the easiest way to cheese through this and came to the conclusion of Para with divine prot and went with it. blew through high rank like it was nothing just keeping the horn upgraded and bare minimum changes to my armor, keeping para 4 skill and horn meastro as a minimum. this was back before defender gear as well.
