Early game HH armor
I am making a new character to give HH a spin, but I can't think of or find any good pre-anjanath HH builds and I suck at making them myself, so I need advice.

Pre-Anjanath, and for a lot of Low Rank in general, you don't have access to great skills exactly from armor- But, on the bright side, the developers aren't expecting you to, which is why builds don't really matter very much at this stage of the game.

Bone Armor will be what you should run with mostly as it's a very solid LR set in general that's easy to obtain and has decent skills on it, including Horn Maestro on the waistpiece, which makes Hunting Horn melodies last longer so you won't have to play them as frequently.

So, aside from the Bone Armor waistpiece, use what you want, though most of the other Bone Armor pieces have worthwhile skills too, just nothing as vital to pick as the waistpiece for Hunting Horns.

dont remember, its the one that looks like a flower and has para. i decided when PC version came out i'd use the least used weapon for me on console to solo everything on PC and it was HH.

then i said, whats the easiest way to cheese through this and came to the conclusion of Para with divine prot and went with it. blew through high rank like it was nothing just keeping the horn upgraded and bare minimum changes to my armor, keeping para 4 skill and horn meastro as a minimum. this was back before defender gear as well.

it does not. Queen Vespoid Horn has:
Def Up L
Stam Reduced L
Ice Res Up L
Sonic Waves
All Wind Pressure Negated

for the first bit, then when it get into high rank notes gains divine blessing song. may not boost your damage but keeps you from needing to heal too often until you can get something with a health augment on it. atleast thats how it worked for me.

then when you can make the dodogama or bazel HH, those will be your pure damage horns.

Attack Up large is usually considered to be the best song for the HH, since it buffs your attacks like crazy.
