At most, there do seem to be a lot of voiced Artemis lines for encountering various things in the world (much like Geralt had. I actually remember how he even had unique lines for fishing) but that doesn't really qualify.
That, or you could say Greater Rathalos' theme being Rathalos' original theme from the first game is a kind of easter egg.
It was a rather monotonous mission and it felt significantly less polished then the Witcher quest.
The layered armor set that you can craft when you complete it is rather nice though. I also received an item called chocolate, but I haven't figured out what to use it for yet.
I got it from the first quest where you fight the Black Diablos.
I did notice that they used the original themes for both Rathalos and Black Diablos like the other posters already mentioned.
The chocolate is for the actual armorset. The journal is for the layered version. The quests give you exactly 5 chocolate and 1 journal so you'll have what you need after one run.
I didn't check the armor section yet so that must be it!
I crafted the layered armor and I assumed that the chocolate was for a weapon or something.
Thanks!
