All I can think of is avoid regions that are at midnight/dawn time when you play, and maybe switch to regions at evening/night time when you play.
Appreciate the attempt for an answer, but you're not telling me something that I didn't know already. Maybe how about if I change the question to something more specific, what are some of the most populated region to play on during say 6:00pm PDT, 2:00am PDT and 8:00am PDT?
From what I can tell, US and Asia server are quite populated.
canada to new zealand would be such a scenario, what is the mediocre ping 300ms+?
lots of lag
ive played with a few people halfway across the world and the only time i remember really lagging out was in a single brachy quest with randoms lol.
then again we don't usually waste time with other people's sessions, would be a different story then i guess
@ OP why not just stick to your own region? its usually the norm that america has the most players anyway.. or you could just get a squad together via discord or whatever
The only time when I had noticable lag was when I was playing with someone from USA. That gliding Nergigante was one hell of a journey.
