Didnt the Devs said PC version will catch up with console version ?
Is this still like that ? Is it even possible ? Will Icebornes Events come way more frequent ?

We actually caught up for a little bit before iceborne launched but its release widen the gap, now i don't think we'll ever catch up tbh.
in January we got iceborne
February we got Rajang and the raccoon city collab and in March we got Safijiva but by then the consoles would most likely get new updates and new monsters so yeah i don't think we'll ever catch up, not until the support for consoles is over then we most likely will.

I mean, you can check it for yourself

I just remembered they only said to accelerate update on PC and try to catch up not guarantee it will
Though Iceborne PC update will be faster than console. Console major update 2 was drop last week (about 3 month since release). PC major update 2 will drop in early March, that look like accelerated update to me

Yes, the PC version can and will still catch up with consoles, excluding the content that was always supposed to be PS4-exclusive specifically. (however, this will most likely happen after console support ends)

Iceborne's updates and presumably things like the Resident Evil event will presumably come out faster than for consoles. We also know IIRC that PC will get the Holiday Joy event that console players are going through right now on launch. The rest of the seasonal events will most likely be synced with consoles.

Got a source for the holiday joy event on launch bit?

Joy fest will be in February, so not quite at launch but still pretty good considering the gravity of that festival.

Taken from the Iceborne PC page:

“For the PC version, we are planning on making all previously released console-version free title updates available as soon as possible.
Our goal is to fast-track development and catch up with the console updates and release them at the same time.
Stay tuned for more news on when this will happen!”

It's a goal alright.

But is it a realistic one? Only time will tell.

It will probably only catch up once the game stops receiving updates on console.

Ok i understand that safi jiva and stygian zinogre arent there from the start. Why dont we get Rajang from the start? Makes no sense. Almost every company has same release days for all platforms expect Capcom...

I mean we'll be busy leveling up through Master Rank and finishing the story throughout the entirety of January so even if Rajang was there from Day 1 we probably wouldn't be able to fight him straight away so im good with them no releasing him Day 1, at least we have something to look forward to after IB is out.

Capcom discovered with MHW and Resident Evil 2 than the PC market is huge af when you release a good game and not medicore reptetitve ♥♥♥♥ WHILE on console medicore sells better.
So I think their next games will always release at the same time.

With Rajjang i dont know maybe they want people to play Iceborne first to the end ?
Because i dont think its hard to implement a already existing creature into the game.

You're absolutely clueless.

A quality game is a quality game, regardless of the platform it's sold on.

Did you even read what I wrote or you just wanted to start an argument because you were in mood ?
MHW is a quality game no matter which plattform.
Need for Speed Heat is a medicore game which sells way worse on PC compared to consoles.
Thats what I was saying.

I don't understand the point you are trying to make.
