set Bonus?

i have 3 pieces of the odogaron (HR) set but its not giving me the 2 pieces passive. any help?

It is, just some menus show you how much each part of it gives rather than the amount of points you have counting for it as a whole. It's hard to explain, but look at your equipment bonuses as a whole and if the text for it is white then you're good to go.

how do you know it doesn't give you the bonus?

it is just a little more ko dmg for draw attcks nothing really special
you know, you still have to hit the head and it is only niche use for gs

You're getting the set bonus, just looking at the wrong page of the interface to see it. Also, as a general tip, set bonuses are seldom worth bothering with, only a few specific bonuses for a few specific builds.

It's also a guaranteed crit, so you can visually see if it's working or not (also you can see KO damage as well). It's useful on quite a few weapons, as you usually don't leave your weapon out all the time.

Make sure all pieces are either A or B, not both.

don't check the set buffs on the armor put your marker on the equipment box below your tools/mantle while on the equipment menu then check the buffs should show all current buff lvls.

you can mix A and B gear...

Odogaron is 2piece and 4piece bonuses.
Inspecting a single piece of equipment will only show 1/4.
Doesn't matter if they're A or B, they mix.

What? No. If you mix the armor it doesnt count against the set bonus. One piece of A and one piece of B does not give you the bonus, in my experience? I might be wrong and happily so

they do mix.... hell if you can get multy set bonuses if you can get a 2 and and a 3 so legi + vaal you can get vaal's 3 piece and legi 2 piece set bonus at same time

just make sure you're equipping the right armor piece with same name A and B doesn't matter B just gives more jewel slots so you can customize
