A safi blast GS is definitely the main one you want to consider as a Lightbreak Blade alternative, I personally have one with Teostra Technique slotted onto it for that extra bit of build flexibility. The damage differences with an optimised weapon is extremely incremental so I advise using Safi weapons for Set Bonuses instead of following the damage-optimal setups, as that's the factor that'll actually set Safi weapons apart from R. Brachy ones instead of just dealing ~1-2% more damage.
Greatswords don't rely on their element/status, and the Alatreon weapons would need to be utterly insane to make what we have now irrelevant. Lightbreak, Kjarr, and Safi weapons are VERY powerful.
Long story short if you already have a very good weapon, which you do, it's not really much gain to go out of your way with the intent to get another. The Safi GS may be marginally better by such small percentiles that you will never notice the change.
Zinogre, Nargacuga, and Rajang are all also fan favorites and their armor and weapons are all completely irrelevant.
If I had to make an educated guess, Alatreon's armor will either give us a way to get Elemental acceleration without wearing literal trash (which would explain why the new Namielle armor is SO bad), or it will have a unique set bonus that will affect your elemental damage output in some way.
It's a lot more likely the weapons/armor will be good for things such as Bow, Dual Blades, and Charge Blade.
