the only time the full set is needed is the new safi armor to unlock the greater bonus
thats why i was lol
You could also try going Hammer or Greatsword I guess, they'll benefit somewhat from Maximum Might and Earplugs, although I don't see much point in using Attack Boost on something with already high inherent attack.
Perhaps a Bowgun of some kind? One of the RFN2 types where you just walk backwards and plink your target with as much damage as you can stack because you're basically untouchable? I guess maybe Hasten Recovery would work will with Peak Performance too, healing any light damage you might take?
Really dunno. The only thing I know about Ruiner Nergigante armour is that one of the pieces is a really great replacement for people who like Attack Boost in their builds, it's literally a straight upgrade to one of the scummy ol' Drachen pieces, I believe.
No, Shara armor also has a five-piece set bonus.
Anyway regarding Ruiner Nergi, its capacity of being "good" is largely in the same capacity as standard Nergi and even Gamma Nergi armor used to be, in that it's useful for aggressive mixed sets but the set bonus is too underwhelming to really bother with.
However, if you do go for it, I would probably go with something like arms + coil beta paired with generally efficient mixed set pieces like Yian beta legs and Rajang beta headdress. You COULD shoot for Master's Touch but I would heavily advise against this, IMO more skill efficiency is more important than Master's Touch in this circumstance, especially with the arms + coil being the overall best Ruiner Nergi pieces thus competing heavily with Teostra.
That should be enough advice to get you started with a build- Unless you wanted to go for a full armorset cosplay setup, in which case don't ask for advice, just equip the full set then equip decos/charms you like, and you're done.
BVaal B Head and Chest
Ruiner B Arm and Waist
Garuga B Leg
You do less damage than a MT build, but you're practically immortal.
