Max graphic settings~Console graphics
It's just ridiculous...
What's the point of buying it on PC after 6 months then?
Except 60fps ofc which I can't hit on max settings...
In some moments it looks even worse, for example armor looks like mud
Well done Capcom,well done

Have you turned off TAA, Turned Off Volumetric Rendering, and installed something like Reshade? Not sure what you're playing on so I don't know what your PC can handle.

My game looks beautiful with the above at 1440p and well over 60fps. Hopefully those suggestions help.
(If you're on Max settings you have both VR and TAA on, they're performance heavy and god awful to look at)

If you want a good Reshade preset PM me. I'll send you a preset.

They aren't even console graphics. Xbox One has superior textures and functioning water reflections.

If you compare the games side by side, the PS4 looks the same as what we got, so that is the port we have. What we don't have is 40 second load times everytime we change screens and hitting 60 FPS most the time on max settings, is perfectly fine with me. The port isn't perfect and it will likely be optimized a bit better, but it could be a lot worse. The texture pack they said they "Might make." might be made now because of the sheer numbers the game is selling/being played.

Looks cleaner cause of resolution, runs smoother cause of framerate and literally loads in several seconds what used to be 20+ per load. It's not perfect, but I'm more than happy with this version after months with it on a base ps4.

Game looks great on 4k for me, running at 55+ FPS

To be clear, Capcom did say they were going for parity with this title.

Why even pose the rhetorical question of "why PC"? Some of us don't have a PS4/XB1 to play it on....

In my case I'm sort of interested in MHW, but $60 is a bit of a risk for my potato....

I have found a few textures that are a bit blurry compared to PS4 but my resolution is higher so most things look sharper. I didn't realise how fuzzy the PS4 version looked until playing it on PC haha.

60FPS and super fast load times makes it worth it already. It is going to get better too so I am not worried.

Just remember textures and water reflections are currently broken on PC. Also the consoles use a lower LOD and some kind of weird shadow system that shows high quality shadows close to the player and then removes anything thats slightly far away. Overall the game does look better on PC since it can load large areas with decent graphics whereas the consoles can only show good graphics in the immediate area of the player.

What's funny is, both the textures and water settings impact performance/use VRAM despite not actually properly loading into the game. 1024 uses less of my card's memory and yet looks the exact same as Full lol.
