I miss paintballs too, but i wish there was some sort of medium. Scoutflies take the "tracking" portion out of the game despite it was supposed to make it feel that way with the seamless environment. Paintballs on the otherhand were great but sometimes (especially in Freedom Unite at G rank) could get tedious to track down a monster that kept hopping from one area to the next and that would just eat up time.
I do wish I could just turn off the scoutflies though and track the monster manually, just for the challenge.
No, footprints are what show monsters on the map... And I can already see the gathering points, they are right there in front of my eyes. And I know where they are after a quest or two in the same area.
"option to turn them off"
"no one should have them"
Denuvo bro, no mods
dont know about that...seen them just pop out of nowhere on me
Everyone ever crying over this sort of thing isn't ACTUALLY mad, they just feel obligated to act mad because it's on the checklist of "I have to cry about this to sound hardcore"
The glow flies as you put it are nice. They serve there purpose well, they make it easy to distinguish fluff in the environment from actual objects, you know rather then gathering spots being that obvious rock on the ground over there in that corner, its probably not even a rock it could be spider webs, poop or wad of old chewing gum you won't know until you waste time gathering it.
Also... why is there yet another denuvo post in this topic XD
That's what scout flies do... There other purpose is to highlight stuff in the environment since items are no longer extremely obvious at a first glance. Its a visual design thing to make information clear and not purposeful obtuse. It gets bonus points for incorporating the mechanic in the lore of the game rather then just highlighting the damn things in a red outline.
