Guiding Reef Crystal Materials

How are thoes aquired? Is it RNG based or do I need to upgrade the guiding lands to a certain level? Any help is appricated.

They have their own lvling method as well

I mean, you can, but there's very little point to doing so, and good luck finding people who want to mine in MP.

It's just as simple as going to the Coral zone, mining outcrops until you see the Giant Mining Outcrops popup, then find the giant outcrop and mine it. Make sure to bring your Palico, because they'll loot the outcrops with you and actually have a decent chance of giving you Guiding crystals/dragonbones.

There is no fancy technique to it, it's very simple. Only real piece of advice to give is that I recommend you mine outcrops/gather bonepiles in the middle of normal GL hunts so you don't run low on ores/bones.

you could but most people would probably kick you if it's not a gathering session and i'm not sure how many people actually make those
you can just do it solo, takes probably 15-20 minutes at most
