As a sidenote you don't have to break parts from Fanged Wyverns specifically for progress. Hunting the same type of monster does mean faster progress on Lures but all monsters contribute somewhat towards special investigations.
However, your chances of getting a Zinogre lure specifically are pretty low. Your best bet for finding him in the GL to hunt it will be to level up the Forest Region and the Coral Region a bit, as he can appear in either of those, and making general GL progress until you encounter him at random.
so if anyone of the other 3 player gets a zinogre you will get it too
sadly capcom introduced annoying mr restriction for gl, advanced players can't help beginners till they reached mr100...
it was something like 24-49;50-69; 70-99 and 100+
anyway i also abandoned zino in guiding land when i realize my armor isnt up to its attacks, came back with better gear but i didnt know the lures back then.ended up killing every monster and hoping zino will appear next lmao
in order to get zinogre lures, hunt in those areas with the required level. you should get some lures quite fast.
but don't worry, not having enough lures is commn when starting TGL, but after a while you have more than you will ever use. *looks at his 17 coral pukei pukei lures and his 20 ruiner nerg lures*
