Hardly.
Yes, Tobi and odogaron are screaming in the background... but I swear if those monsters gave out those skills kushala armor would just be handicraft and wind resistance, and without proper decoration slots, it would be a pretty much useless set for anything not kushala based.
Thank you for the idea, I'm trying to work on the ultimate lancer armor, and I wanted to try out evade extender, and also it'd just be nice to have the charm to switch out for like long sword sets or something ya know.
Wind immunity doesn't prevent the damage from the tornadoes so while you can kinda skirt around the tornadoes more, you still take damage and fly back with a normal damage animation if you walk in.
It mostly helps with the passive wind shield, which is handy. Shame the tornadoes are still annoying and horrible.
I'd recommend doing Steamworks then to get Evade Extender Jewels. So much less painful than fighting Kushala and if your basegame deco collection is incomplete the event Steamworks rewards will pretty easily round out a lot of it.
I know ^.^. I said at the end of my statement that it won't save you from the damage. If it is normal kushala, this isn't an issue.
