So is anybody able to beat him? Everytime I do emergency signals I get screwed over by ppl dieing in a row, there's always at least 1.

And I'm gonna be absolutely honest, I cannot beat him solo and I don't feel like farming the neccesary ♥♥♥♥ to beat him.

Randoms are always going to be hit or miss. I find most of the SoS groups I join ultimately fail.

I recommend soloing him, and he does not require anything specific to be farmed to do so. Use the environment and flinch shot him into the mountains for incredible damage.

Try it solo with fortify, I did it that way with drachen and base guild palace hammer.

He's the easiest fight in the game if you know what to do, so here is what you do:

Start off using either a pierce bowgun or any melee weapon of your choice that doesn't do poison damage. Aim for face as much as possible, and use clutch claw to run him into the collapsable wall (you'll see on minimap)

When he reaches phase 2, use a farcaster to go back to camp, and switch to a poison weapon.

At this point you can just play chicken for the most part with him. Poison would be a 5 star weakness if the UI actually showed more than 3 stars. Just apply poison and take some pots shots on his feet, you'll eventually wear him down just with that.
He really is a joke of a fight unless you are specifically looking to break his face twice for the plate it drops, but don't worry about that until you've memorized his attack patterns and have augmented a few pieces of gear.

clutch claw...
Fighting it without abusing that claw takes almost the whole time.

Use palico with a rank 15 shield spire. You can then place out a decoy called Shield spire stooge that will piss off the monster so much that he will make it number 1 target majority of the time its up. With that up you can deal damage to him without having to worry about him constantly attacking you.

Honestly, if you can't really do it solo and don't feel like farming some proper gear then yeah expect trouble on the boss.

Nothing's required to beat Shara aside from being capable of dodging its attacks, which are hard hitting, but fairly slow. Some tips:

-Phase 1 can be quickly gotten past via the falling boulders. Flinch shots to Shara's head towards the yellowish rocks behind it when the fight starts will, up to twice, inflict massive damage and a free knockdown. This on its own takes out most of Phase 1. There are more rockfall opportunities for Phase 2/3 but these are far less reliable because Shara will often destroy them itself from its own attacks.

-Bring Farcasters so you can nope out if you're about to die or if you need a restock.

-Hind legs during Phase 2/3 are a perfectly acceptable part to focus if you're still learning the fight. Essentially ALL of Shara's attacks go from the front so as long as you are behind it or under it you're largely safe. Just go for the head or forelegs if you get a reasonable chance because those are way better for damage.

-Skills like Tremor Resistance and Mirewalker specifically can both help for the fight. Stun Resistance also obviously helps a lot like it does for essentially all hard fights.

-Use Clutch Claw to move around quickly, eg. When Shara is charging its beam, clutching the "wings" actually sends you straight to the forelegs which are safe from the attack, so a quick CC reaction can totally save you from that attack and immediately move you into damaging range.

Honestly, if you can't beat shara solo, then you are defintiely not ready for what comes after it. It only makes sense that you should be stuck on it until you figure it out.

Yes he's very easy. I use Beotodus Ice CB and the fight can be over in less than 10 minutes if I want.

The real challenge is getting the carvable face part off.

took me one try with one cart after I took some badass combo. I didn't have any decorations since I first played mhw on ps4 so I rushed through the content on pc, my weapon of choice was CB.
Overall if you're behind him he doesn't have any dangerous attack. His big bang attack is the slowest in the game, you have plenty of time to go to a corner of the arena. Same thing with his laser, it's pretty slow.

I had more trouble defeating MR teostra or vaal.

What exactly is giving you problems? For general tips, if you're getting caught in the sand all the time bring mirewalker 1, if you're getting stunned constantly take stun res 3, and if you can't tank a hit bring health boost 3.

Nah, no one is able to beat him, he's invincible and not a single person has ever been able to kill him

sigh... op if you need help just go ahead and invite me i'll help you out.

- Blast or Ice
- Partbreaker +3
- Palico healing
- Mirewalker 1 (for the sand)

First phase - easy.
Second phase - clutch claw a front leg and focus until you break it, when Shara goes down clutch claw the head and hit head until Shara gets back up. Focus on the other front leg, break it and then focus on anything you want.

One of the cheeziest way to beat it is to just clutch it's tail and keep hitting it. Most of it's attack are frontal one anyway. An extra IG will make the job even easier

this is a fairly easy battle when you get used to it, the first half(covered in stone) its easy to deal with using ranged weapons, i use ice or blast bow, you can get through it with a single hit, then, use a farcaster to swap to DB or IG, DB is pretty much run around in demon mode and you will rarely get hit when you know its attacks, IG is keeping your buffs up and attacking from under the boss and then jump away from it and thats pretty much just it.
