The best QoL mod has been made!
https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/2237

A few examples-

Dragonite Ore: "An ore that yields metal superior to that of Machalite. Invaluable for making durable armor."

Fertile Mud: "Mud that Barroth roll around in. Nutrient-rich and great for farming."

Deviljho Scale: "A greenish-black Deviljho scale. It's not often sold, as rumors claim it brings misfortune."

Teostra Mane: "This majestic mane is a sure sign of Teostra's regality."

Rathalos Webbing: "This heat-resistant material if often used as armor lining."

Vaal Hazak Tail: "The stiff, fleshy tail of a Vaal Hazak. While it appears to be rotting, it is actually very tough."

So basically what the item descriptions should've been all along instead of the lazy copy-paste stuff we got.

Correct.

Meh. Who reads item descriptions anyway?

Who spends time looking at item descriptions? You might want to learn what QOL actually means OP, I see nothing really gained other than text.

It's not a bad mod but with more updates & monsters coming in, one will have to redownload this mod everytime that happens which is more of an inconvenience rather than a QoL.

it is QoL due to the fact it gives items better descriptons than just the copy/paste "used for many purposes" instead of giving a bit of detail what said part can do like older titles.

It's not really a quality of life mod, but it's nice to have and I would have preferred having more detailed item descriptions like this.

However, I personally don't see much of a point seeing as the main benefit of these is story and worldbuilding. Seems pointless when it's coming from an unofficial source.

Pretty much this, too. I don't want to see someone elses fan fiction / headcanon, after all. I don't think having Dark Souls lore on every monster part is something worth wasting time on either.

While the newer items can't be spoken for since Capcom didn't include flavor text with them, as long as at least the old descriptions of monster parts is put in, then it's fine. If it's just someones headcannon/take on it, then no.

Cute mod but definitely not improving QOL by any means whatsoever
