Kirin with investigation as high rank?
I have 3lvl Kirin from hunter note.

Wondered investigation don't pop this quests
I wanted get fast "Elder Dragon Bone" from reward and upgrade weapon

Go to the High Rank Coral Highlands on an expedition, look around areas you'd normally find Kirin tracks (so high up) and finding tracks SHOULD be the final unlock condition IIRC.

Find tracks in HR coral highlands, or do the HR49 quest.

Then do xp event quest and level up...

you cannot unlock tempered elder dragons investigations until you reach HR49.
i think u can get elder dragon bone fighting any elder dragon, doesnt need to be kirin
