Does Windproof even do anything against Kushala Daora?

Seems like I've been wasting my time and resources crafting the wind charm and armor bearing that skill.
Am I missing something?

I haven't tried it but I'm pretty sure it reduces the effectiveness of some of his moves.

For total immunity to him you have to get his Set Bonus.

He's still an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ either way though.

as far as i know, even the full wind proof skill doesnt count against every attack kushala does, there are one or two attacks which cant be countered on which you always will be affected by

iirc only HH with negate all wind pressure buff can negate his wind

It should at least protect you from her wind "aura" which is the main anti-fun factor of Kushala.

Windproof only affects the basic downpressure from kusha's flight. It does NOTHING for anything else Kusha does. For anything else you need the set bonus from kusha's gear.

Windproof won't do it for Kushala's wind pressure; you'll need the Kushala armour's 3 piece set bonus for immunity.

Wrong. They removed that mechanic because of the new debuff on dragon type weapons. Poison no longer does anything but damage to elders.

By total immunity, do you mean actual immunity against every wind-type thing he does?
