how to get basic layered armor?

First of all, pardon my english. it's not my main language

I only unlocked brigade, butterfly, orion, and gala. my friend said there's layered armor for basic armor such as leather and chains. i'm currently at HR 50 and always questioning, did i missed something? i asked him how to get it, he just simply replied that i need to complete all delivery missions on resource center. however all my delivery mission on resource center are completed but still no layered armor such as leather or chain.

i really appreciate any solution besides transmog. thank you

All the basic layered armor stuff is coming in the February update.

Currently most Layered armor is very limited. On Febuary 6th we'll get our first big drop of Layered Armor cosmetics, which I believe does include basic leather/chainmail with further updates expanding on this.

However, this stuff will be an Iceborne-specific feature, because the process to get the materials to make these layered armors is based around features specific to the expansion.

First things first: You don't get layerd armors from deliveries anymore. They changed it, so now you craft them at the smithy. But this only changes the place you get them from. You still need to get the same materials as before for the deliveries, just now you bring them to the smithy.

To unlock different layerd armors at the smithy you need to find the required materials first.

I think the layerd armor your friend was talking about are those you get from Arch Tempered Elder Dragon Event Quests. Those quests are currently available.

One Example: You finish Arch Tempered Kirin. As Quest reward you get a "Kirin Ticket". You go to the Smithy, select "Forge layered armor", now the Blossom Layered Armor shows up and you see the required materials.

The different Elders give Tickets for different Layerd Armor:

Arch Tempered Kirin = Blossom Layered Armor
Arch Temeperd Vaal Hazak = Death Stench Layered Armro
Arch Tempered Teostra + "Code Red" = Dante Layered Armor
Arch Tempered Kushala Daora = Guild Cross Layered Armor
Arch Tempered Zorah Magdaros = Origin Layered Armor
Arch Tempered Xeno'jiiva = Commission Layered Armor
Extreme Behemoth = Drachen Layered Armor

With later patches Capcom will implement more layered armors to craft. On consoles you can already craft many of the HR Armors as Layerd versions. The first of these layered armors will come to PC with the Rajang Update next week.

If you have Iceborne. Yes

" such aa lathered and chainmail" <-- Coming February update you may craft it but the materials in order to craft it has to come from Master Rank region; which you need Iceborne to get access for it. Cheers!
