How the heck do you use traps from your pouch>

I cant seem how to work it. Am I to put it to my radial menu to use it like the mega bomb?

When I go to put it in the radial menu, its not an available option from the list but I can see it in my pouch.

This is the second time you've made a thread like this. Use the D-Pad or whatever it is you're controlling to scroll to that item, press the item use button, lure a monster on to the trap that you either want to stand still or capture (if it's weak enough) and then boom.

you have to customize your radial menu and manually add them to it
you can also just scroll through your item bar and have it ready pre-emptively.

Worth mentioning is that the radial menu is for some reason bound to a item loadout. So you should save your loadout after setting up the radial.

If you did not save the changed radial menu to your item loadout, it will reset to the item loadout previously saved radial menu setup when you load that loadout.

Also make sure you set the item, not the craft the item on the radial menu.

Yeah you use traps like bombs on the item ribbon, just scroll to it and then use it. Of course, you need to carry the trap item in your item pouch.

I can't add it to my radial.menu. I am.making a new.menu.

I select the slot in the radial but there is no option on the right in all the tabs

When selecting to chose an icon/action, you have to go to the correct tab. There is Item, crafting, etc. Chose what you want in the radical menu for short.

I just wish this was way easier for keyboard. Navigating with keyboard and mouse like you are using a controller... For some reason, Radical Menu works great and instantly does what you need it to do and then the Item Ribbon does not register correctly when pressing to heal.

Traps should be automatically added to your radial menu. I think he's trying to add a Trap Tool to the radial menu, which doesn't work. Catch some Thunderbugs and combine them with the Trap tool to create Shock Traps. Those are added to the radial menu (like every useable item).

So you buy the trap tool and then combine it to make a trap.

Cant you just buy the trap complete?
