High rank diablos but no Majestic horn!?!?!?!?

So I was told that the rule to getting majestic horn is to break both of diablos horns on a high rank but I have been doing that + killing/capturing 14 diablos as of now but I still did not get a single majestic horn. Am I just wasting my time here!? Do I have to break both horns at the exact same time or is he not gonna drop any majestic horns at all!?

even if you break both of its horns, it's not a gurantee drop, it has a low chance, like a gem kinda.

Black Diablos also drops an entirely different horn item.

break the horns. leave the mission. 1 majestic horn reward. repeat. all the majestic horns i got it was doing this cause kill him or capture him never gave me a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horn...

The drop is not 100%. What I did to get them is using a vouch. It increases drop rate by quite a bit: needed two horns, used two vouches, got them both.

no bro it doesnt require to break diablo horn
breaking horn only give u addition reward at the end and it could be maj horn or something else
u can get maj horn from carving death body or capture and from investigation reward still low rate becos hr diablo drop 2 kind of horn

So no you can't get Majestic Horn from carves or capture, You can only get it from investigation rewards or from breaking "BOTH HORNS"

Was gonna post the same as i've been doing Diablos today for majestic horns, but i only get the low rank twisted horns every time.

I thought gem was supposed to be the hardest to get, but i got a bunch of those.
Guess these majestic horns is way rarer than a gem then.

the gem is more rare, but the majestic horn requires you to break the horns first. at least once you grinded a couple of horns you are well set for the rest of the monsters to come, i think diablos is a great wall to get ready for the t3 monsters.

the f'ed up thing is, i think i did 5 or so without any drop and then one investigation that dropped like 5. same thing with everything i farm, really. need a nerg gem? how about you kill nerg 15 times and then on the 16th i just drop 4 gems all at once for your trouble? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

How I got most of the horns
Choose HBG w/ wyvern heart>Join random SOS HR Diablos fight>Bring Screamer pod and ratatatata both of it's horn>See team carts 3 times>insta lost but rewards Majestic horns

But yeah,breaking horns and capturing seems to give me MHorns too,maybe you're just really that unlucky ones.I got it every single time I manage to break both of its horns

Learn to use explosives when the monster goes to sleep. For this to be effective you need to play in group though and they need to know how to play the game as well. So, lay barrel bomb+ or whatever it's called around it's head/horns and then someone hits the barrel hopefully breaking it's horns.
You can also utilize a pitfall trap and hit the horns that way, or perhaps make the monster fall asleep while it's in trap and then lay down the explosives etc..

Breaking the horns is really easy tbh. Tail seems way harder as i never manage to cut it before he dies.
In any case i finally got 1 majestic horn.
Unfortunatly i need more.
Took me only 6-7? or was it more attempts.
Btw i get lots of gems from the investigation rewards, which might be why its easier than getting the Mhorns.

Do them in investigations, you also have a change to get them in gold slots.
