Mmm you might. If you played it under your own Steam account you should be able to just copy your save data and put it in your own PC save file.

However if you played it on another Steam account it might not work due to Steam ID.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[STEAM ID]\582010\remote

The above path is the default one. If you have Steam installed in a custom location, simply go to your Steam install folder, then double click the directories: \userdata\[STEAM ID]\582010\remote

Saves are tied to Steam ID, so if it's your friend's steam account that the save is on then you cannot transfer it to another account.

Edit: since someone will probably complain about source, here is the Sticky in this Discussion by the developers: https://steamcommunity.com/app/582010/discussions/0/1745594817430281693/

"Can I transfer my Monster Hunter: World PC / Steam save data / hunters to another account?

Monster Hunter: World hunters and save data are permanently tied to the Steam account that created them, and cannot be transferred to another account."

well,I can advice you choose 1 of 2
1. Uou contact steam about this or you find a mod that edit the save game or
2. You play it again, you're already better than before, shouldn't be problem.
