Implementing VAC?
Since this game requires Valve's Steam ID log on to play online, I believe they should also implement VAC to make the online healthy.

whice game you got banned by VAC for using mods? please give me a list,i need to know so i can avoid getting banned.

Dungeon defenders top of the list lolz, I got banned years ago for using custom maps (back when VAC was ridiculous and steam workshop didnt exist) I hear horror stories quite often in games like Dying light, L4D2
just only one game? no one playing that game anymore.

and i mod a ton in L4D2 and dying light, never got banned for that.maybe they already lifted it?

Isn't lvl 40 people supposed to know what xeno is going to do? guessing they killed it through the story mode and other hunts im guessing since they're lvl 40? also aren't lvl 40 meant to have good gear so they don't get one shooted? i saw one with full xeno gear+the xeno bow and still got one shooted. So there's no difference really. it took me 4 bloody hours to kill it because people had no clue what to do regardless of them being such high lvl as 40 and above with decent gear.

some people die 5x within 3 mins, whats the difference.

The difference is that one is actually trying to play the game and the other is cheating in other people's games why is this even a discussion

VAC only bans what the Developer wants it to ban.

I played Left 4 Dead 2 quite a bit and even the first one. Neither of these games had an issue with VAC or cheaters.

I'm going to presume this is a hilarious joke because L4D2 is one of the most cheat-infested games I've ever seen on Steam.

VAC ban will probably be triggered the most in one of these games
Counter-Strike: Source
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Day of Defeat: Source
Team Fortress 2
as well as Dota 2 for trading scam.

Tf2 have VAC and in the time of being a good game before gettin ftp .
A lot of people got Vac banned for using stuff . See it in real time too.
Adding a feature that can prevent problems online is only a good thing .
Modding is great but should not modify game file that can influence the online experience of other people in any way.

I played both games on launch with friends and we won basically 95% of the time. The times we lost where against other good people. Not because of them using cheats.

So no that game was not infested with cheaters. Maybe you just encountered people who where good and that had teamwork. Because my god, teamwork in that game makes you near invincible.

People got banned for using cheats in TF2. People could use idle clients without a problem and not being banned. People can max out all of their achievements and not be banned. You can mod a lot of stuff without being banned.

It's a discussion for the same reason people think that mods are affecting their single player game. I don't think this matters though, this is a single player game first then co-op. You do realize the savedata is local right? you do realize you can play offline and then save your game and then do whatever you want right?

I don't trust a JP dev who can't even make a proper PC port. If they were to implement VAC, I'd be too scared to even use Reshade. Might as well quit & move on to the next game if that happens.

Oh trust me, I know. Versus in L4D2 is extremely survivor-biased and just about all of the SI make very noticeable sound effects so its very common for people to frequently get wallbang headshots even if they're only half decent.

It probably wasn't infested with cheaters at launch but these days? You have no idea. Last time I played at least 50% of players were blatantly using speedhack+spinbots, spamming earrape racist voice clips over chat, spamming full-caps racist keybinds...

It's pretty unplayable now.

I would like to not live in fear that some random vac trigger starts banning everyone left and right.

I do. I have a keybind dedicated to saving the game. That doesn't mean I'm never going to encounter cheaters. If you were capable of reading you might have noticed that I just want to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game and don't want to constantly encounter monsters being instakilled just because I want to play some multiplayer with other hunters.

It's absolutely ludicrous to say that going into multiplayer and ruining other player's enjoyment of the game by instakilling their hunts is totally an issue.

"lol just like dont play multiplayer than xxD" is a complete cop-out excuse. If I spent over $80 glorious Australian dollars on a game so I could slay some dragons with people over the internet, I reckon I'm entitled to that.

VAC doesn't do that. VAC only bans for known things.

Reshade don't modify any core game files so why should be seen as a Cheat or something.
I used It in a lot of game and never got any problem .
