Your hardest crowns to get?

So far Rathian and Kushala have gone from my least killed monsters to the most killed monsters and I'm starting to feel hopeless on their giant gold crowns.
How's your luck been for your hunts?

Was lucky on PC. Got them all pretty fast.
On PS4, without counting crown sniping (measuring and leaving if not crown) I had 100 kirin hunts before getting its small crown. And 150 Teostra for both crown. Mind you, most of these weren't made with crown in mind.

But Teostra took me a whole week of hunting him/crown sniping him. (and that's with an average of 8min hunts when I had doubts about him.) I don't want to fight him anymore.

Kushala was the most painful. At least 50 investigations in a row trying to get the large gold crown without a single good one.
Then the next day I join a random 30mins tempered Kushala twice in a row by the same host and I get a mini and a gold crown back to back.
I literally screamed when I found out the big Kushala was indeed gold.

btw if you're having issues with Rathian just spam the Wildspire event quest until you get one. Kill Kulu, wait a little bit, then go in the forest area and kill the Rathian, after which you can just return from quest. You can also check videos on the internet on how to measure mini/large gold crowns for each monster.

I remember my hardest was Azure Rathalos, i had to slay him for 4 hours straight and never got it. I got it 1 day later by helping someone in online.

Kirin was my hardest, everything else was just "I hadn't killed it over 10 times yet". Kirin I had killed 47 of them that looked like gold/silver crowns for both sizes, and I ended up opening about 250+ investigations before I got my large kirin gold crown -.-

kirin and black diablos.
everything else is on event except elders and bdiablos.
but since you do elders mulitple times on a daily basis for farming deco and hero streams.
you will probably get their crowns.

Killing 600 great jagras i was not able to get a small crown 👑 yet and got frustrated 😤 nver again crown hunting! Kirin also in a mess up too~

Struggling just trying to get the investigations with the highest chance of getting what I need for the few remaining crowns but giant Toby still remains as the most troublesome crown to get so far. 119 Tobys died (+ a bunch of resets).

Except Kushala, because nobody f*cking wants to do Kushala.

Man I've had like 5 Kushala's that match the guided sizes on youtube and they weren't even a bigger silver.

Been fighting them over and over after some measure but still no crown...

Took me 5 days of crown sniping just for Black Diablos.
So satisfying when I finally got it.

Mine is Giant Nergigante, i’ve killed 150 Nergi in a week and finally got Giant Gold Crown a few days ago by responding to SOS. bless you whoever share your Investigation, cause I already run out of Nergi quest that time.

Also most of the investigation that got me gold crown usually have 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze reward. with 2 faints and 15 minutes time limit. i dont know if its luck or some kind of pattern. hope this help

I have gold crowns for all elders, all flying/bird/piscine wyverns, missing a bunch of brute and fanged... Still no crown AT ALL for the Great Jagras... Despite doing the event quests related to crowns once a day at least. He seems to be my crown nemesis.
